Community Service
- Make A Difference Day
Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping
others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Everyone can
participate. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make A Difference Day is
an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October.
- America's Promise
The mission of America's Promise is to mobilize people from every
sector of American life to build the character and competence of our
nation's youth by fulfilling Five Promises for young people:
1. Ongoing relationships with caring adults in their lives - parents, mentors, tutors, or coaches.
2. Safe places with structured activities during nonschool hours.

Habitat for Humanity is a housing ministry based on the Christian principles of
decent housing for all people, regardless of race or creed. Prospective
homeowners work with volunteers who build the houses as their expression of God's love.
